Jakima is Jennifer's best friend of almost ten years. Jakima is the most trustworthy and dedicated friend you could ever dream of. She works as Hospitality Coordinator and Security for a banking corporation, has three lovely daughters, and lives in Cumming, Georgia.

Owen is Joel's best friend who has been there for him during the best and most difficult times in his life. They originally bonded over their passion for public safety while working together at the Georgia Department of Transportation's HERO unit. Since they left the unit, they have remained close friends and enjoy working on cars and smoking cigars. Owen is an IT Project Manager and lives in Cumming, Georgia.

Kaitlyn is Jennifer's loving younger sister. The life of every party, Kaitlyn's vivacious personality lights up the room. Whether it's by doing impressions or putting googly eyes on inanimate objects, you can count on Kaitlyn to make you laugh no matter what you are going through. She is a Manager for an industrial tool company, and mother to beautiful 3 year old Sophia. Kaitlyn lives in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Christopher Anderson (Ando) has been one of Joels oldest friends, having moved into the house behind his when he was 5 and Ando was 4. They were fast friends and have remained close throughout the years despite the slew of military assignments Joel has been on over the years.

Abigail is Joel's sassy 15 year old daughter. When she is not working at Chick-fil-A or attending school, Abi loves meeting with her friends at Lighthouse and Bible study, and attending retreats and mission trips. Abigail is heading into her sophomore year of high school at Alliance Academy for Innovation in Cumming, Georgia studying dual pathways in Education and Criminal Justice-Forensics.

Mike and Joel met at work serving their county with Alamo West Fire Rescue. Sharing a passion for the fire service as well as both working the same second job, they quickly became great friends. They have remained friends in the years since Joel returned to Georgia and he is always ready to lend a hand or offer a place to sleep and activities to do together whenever Joel is in town. Mike lives in Alamogordo, New Mexico with his wife and three children.

Allison is Joel's hardworking 16 year old daughter. Allison is a caring and talented young lady. She is a drum major for her school's marching band, an accomplished flautist, and an exceptional high-achieving student. Allison is a rising senior at Southwest Legacy High School in San Antonio, Texas. After graduation, she hopes to make Emory University here in Atlanta her home for college as she works toward her Pre-Med degree.

Joshua is Jennifer's active 14 year old son. His love of all things related to aerospace means he can tell you anything you would like to know about airplanes. As a Cadet Airman in the Civil Air Patrol, he stays quite busy. Whether it is drill practice, physical training, or studying material, he stays focused on being the best cadet he can. Joshua is going into his freshman year of high school at Alliance Academy for Innovation in Cumming, Georgia studying dual pathways in Aerospace and Mechatronics.

Andrew is Joel's bright and thoughtful 12 year old son. Andrew is always the first to offer to share a snack or ask how you are doing. Studying in all Honors-level classes, Andrew is one for whom learning comes naturally. His favorite subject is history. He has an interest in gemology and airplanes. He is looking forward to joining his brother Joshua in the Civil Air Patrol as a Cadet in August. He is heading into the seventh grade at Forsyth Virtual Academy in Cumming, Georgia.

Sophia is Jennifer's beautiful 3 year old niece. She loves princesses, Sesame Street, and spending time with her Nana.

Liddy is Joel's adorable two and a half year old niece. She loves spending time with her Mimi and going to Disneyworld with her parents as often as she can.

Kimmy is the daughter of Joel's Best Man, Michael Sedillo. She loves princesses - her favorite is Belle. She also loves playing basketball with her brothers, playing on the swing and the slide.
